Below is the point system used for selective enrollment.  Please make sure to visit the selective enrollment website for more information as to how students are selected and competition information.

 

 

Special Applications and Requirements
2008-2009 Cycle

Amundsen - Use Amundsen application (on website). IB program - use special application.

Lane, Northside, Payton and other Selctive enrollment schools - Use Selective Enrollment Application.  Must have a stanines of 5 or higher in both math and reading to apply. Students with special needs must have a combined stanine

of 10.

Lincoln Park - Performing Arts - Use Lincoln Park application (on website).  Must be in the "meets" category on ISATs.  Audition required.

Lincoln Park Honors - 85th Percentile or higher on ISAT math & reading  Lincoln Park Application.  For IB program use special IB application.

Von Steuben - Lottery, use VonSteuben application.  Need ISAT stanines of 5 or higher in  math, reading and science.

Von Steuben Scholars - Lottery, use Von Scholars application.  Must be have stanines of 7 or higher (above 77th percentile) in reading, math and science.
