Waters student earns gold at state science fair! ![]() Congratulations to Ariel (room 309) for her outstanding performance at both the city and state science fairs this spring! Ariel won several special awards at the City of Chicago fair in March and was selected to go on to compete at the State level! Not only did she do well at the State fair in May, but she was awarded GOLD! Ariel is a bright young lady who completed her research on how salt affects the microcrustacean, Daphnia. Even though Daphnia are small, by studying them, we get a good picture on the health of our aquatic ecosystems. Ariel's research caught the eye of many professional scientists visiting the fairs. Waters School is very proud of Ariel! |
Warm Weather is Upon Us! Now that summer weather is here, please remember to pay close attention to our dress code policy. Clothing should be modest and appropiate for school. Please see the "Policies and Procedures" page for more information.
Students are allowed to bring a water bottle to school to drink from throughout the day. However, sports drinks, soda, juice, etc. are not allowed in the classrooms.
